The ivory colourway of Stone Island’s SS25 distressed compass-badge long-sleeve T-shirt — the same graphic, the same deliberate erosion of the house’s most recognisable mark, on a ground that changes the piece’s register entirely. Where the black edition gives the cracked compass-rose a stark, industrial presence — pale ink eroded on dark ground — the ivory ground inverts the relationship: the compass-badge graphic is printed in a cool blue-grey tonal ink that sits softly against the warm off-white ground, the distressed treatment reading less as weathered industrial signage and more as a blueprint or technical drawing. The circular compass-rose with its four cardinal points and “STONE ISLAND” and “INDUSTRIA” ring text fills the upper back panel at the same oversized scale as the black edition, the fine-line quality of the distressed print particularly legible on the lighter ground — every crack, gap, and erosion in the graphic is visible in a way the dark ground partially absorbs.
